Dr. Andrew Eusebio Tan, Director for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, headed the Strategic Planning Workshop held on November 17-18 at the Mambukal Mountain Resort, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
The objective of the workshop was to revisit the mandate, vision, and mission of the College in order to realign the units accordingly, and likewise to create a new strategic plan for implementation in 2015 to 2019.
Dr. Tan began the workshop by recapitulating the CHMSC Roadmap and where the College is at this point, providing a context from which the participants can ascertain the College’s current position and devise strategic actions that will compel it further towards the right direction.
The participants were divided into three groups, namely Administration headed by VP for Administration and Finance Dr. Salvador Zaragosa, Jr., Instruction under VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Orlando Beñales, and Research under the leadership of VP for Research and Extension Dr. Eduardo Sayson.
The outputs from the workshop will be incorporated as the core of the Strategic Plan 2015-2019.
